Lucía Español grew up surrounded by sewing machines, needles, fabrics and threads. Her talented mother, María Jesús Español, has been her best teacher and greatest inspiration.  Finally, in 2015 LU_LUCIE was developed thanks to her unconditional love for rock and roll together with a passion for travelling, challenges and hard-work.

Seeing her ideas on stages around the world made her feel as never before, so she decided to take the plunge and dedicate herself exclusively to design unique garments for musicians. Lucía creates hand-made and customised clothes, inspired by iconic silhouettes of the twentieth century and 1960 and 1970s style. But, above all else, what motivates every creative process is her attetion to detail. 

She has worked with diverse international stars as Dorian, Miles Kane, Blues Pills, Ara Malikian, or Los Bengala, among others. Working with these international artists can sometimes be challenging, due to processes are long-distance comissioned. 

This is all made possible by the trust of the artists, her mother’s support, and every person who surrounds her professionally and personally.
